I am currently interested in drawing items found within my house that are containers with a reflective surface. My drawings are then re-created as lithographs which include a pinhole photograph of the room in my house that the object came from. The photographs act as a reflection within the object but could also suggest a world captured within an object. My photographs are made using simple aluminum can cameras which create distorted and curved images, suggestive of reflections. The convex shapes easily fit inside the drawings with little alteration. I sometimes include found collage from my home; food pagaging, shopping lists or correspondence these items also have a relevance to the drawn object.
